Facebook post by Nigerian threatening to ‘kill’ Akunyili emerges
Nigerian social media space trended, Thursday, following the emergence of an old post by a Nigerian who had seemingly threatened to kill Dr Chike Akunyili, late husband of former Director General of the National Agency for Food and Drug and Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Dora Akunyili.
The late Dr Chike Akunyili was assassinated in Nkpor, Anambra State along with his driver, Tuesday.
A Facebook user with the username ‘Blossom Benjamin’ trended Thursday after a message the user posted on the platform emerged as the user had threatened to kill the late doctor.
Following his death, Facebook users dug out an old comment made by a certain ‘Blossom Benjamin’ threatening to make the late doctor ‘pay’ and ‘never go scot free.’
As the comment gained attention, Blossom Benjamin began trending on Facebook.
Nigerians also took to the post made by Dr Akunyili, where the user left the threat, to comment after the post went viral.
It was later observed that the Facebook user who made the threat has now changed username to Nimah Nnenna, after other users started calling them out.
