President Bola Tinubu has finally forwarded a 28-man ministerial list to the senate for screening and approval.

He ministerial list comprises ex-state governors, House of Representatives members, senators, and others, also featured the Ebonyi, Kaduna, Rivers and Osun states’ governors, David Umahi, Nasir el-Rufai, Nyesom Wike and Gboyega Oyetola, respectively, as well as, for Mrs Nkiru Onyejiocha, former Reps, who represents Abia State.

Conspicuously absent, however, is the former Kano governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, who had previously been touted to be in the list.

Notably, the list contains only six women ministerial-designates out of the 28 nominees, leaving the men occupying 22 slots.

Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, read out the list during Thursday’s plenary, presented by the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.
