“He cautioned the APC party leaders to treat them well and continuously absolve them in the leadership of the party and in the governance of Lagos State.
“The state coordinator of Ndigbo in APC Lagos State Eze Uche Dimgba – Okpotomba stated that part of the massive crowds of Ndigbo in INEC PVC registration centres was mostly due to the N1.0million award promised by the apex leader Joe Igbokwe to any LGA/LCDA with the highest number of registered voters with INEC in Lagos State.
“He concluded that most of the massive Ndigbo seeking to register to vote was to win the N1:0m price money in their local govt area and are not necessarily registering to vote for peter obi.”
The state women leader of Ndigbo in APC Lagos State ,Barrister (Princess ) Oby Onu , stated that there is a massive mobilization of Ndigbo market women in Lagos State.
She said the Igbo women in Lagos State are being motivated daily to vote for APC in Lagos State in the coming general elections in 2023.
Barrister Uche Ubochi, who is a Board of Trustee( BOT) member of Ndigbo in APC Lagos State expressed dissatisfaction with the manner in which the APC party leadership in Lagos State treat Igbo members.
Ubochi said the Lagos APC do not appreciate the love of Ndigbo of the progressives leadership of Lagos State and especially of Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu. “They always generalize any Igbo critics of the party to be speaking for all Ndigbo in Lagos State,” he said.
He assured the party that majority of Ndigbo elites , especially the economically sound in the Lagos State are pro-APC but asked the party leaders to treat Ndigbo members of the all progressive congress with respect and with fair play.
