Gov. Otu drums support for upcoming artists

The Cross River State Governor Senator Bassey Otu has charged performing musicians (artists) whose career has risen to its peak to provide their shoulders for up coming artists to lean on.
Otu gave the charge during a reception ceremony of Late Chief Charles Effiom Duke father to Cassandra Legor Idagbor in Calabar.
Otu said artists who have broken even in the profession should support the younger ones so that when they quit, they can have a legacy left behind.
Senator representing Cross River South Senatorial district, Asuquo, Asuquo Ekpenyong Jr described Late Chief Charles Effiom -Duke as a Colossus who created a lot of impact in the entertainment industry and made many who are now bosses on thier own.
He eulogized late artists for grooming other artists who had made a mark in the industry and had at a moment sojourn outside the shores of Nigeria in search of greener pastures.
