Gov Otu flags off 2023 carnival Calabar

The Governor of Cross River State, Senator Bassey Otu has flagged off the 2023 Carnival Calabar.

The governor who flagged off the exercise at the Eleven-Eleven Roundabout in Calabar said the festival is one of his campaign promises that he is going to bring the carnival back and in a bigger platform.

He disclosed that the carnival has fully been reconnected back and he will love it to the next level.

He also said the energy displayed shows everybody is ready to vibrate and the festival will be another feather added to the cap of the organisers.

This year’s edition is tagged “Season of Sweetness” and is the 16th edition of the annual fiesta.
