Gunmen kill policeman, abduct another at free medical outreach programme in Anambra

Gunmen who attacked venue of a free medical outreach programme at Eziama-Uli Health Centre Ihiala local government area of Anambra state have killed a policeman, and reportedly abducted another officer.

It was gathered another policeman also sustained bullets wounds and was rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

The free medical outreach was organized by Uli Global Ambassadors for Development Initiative.

The gunmen were said to have stormed the venue, shot sporadically, causing the crowd to scamper for safety.

Details of the incident were still sketchy as of the time of filing this.

Efforts to reach the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, on the development failed.
