Ibom Air has taken delivery of the second of its ordered Airbus 220-300 aircraft.
The aircraft which touched down is under lease from Egypt Air and brings the airline’s fleet size to seven
Registered as SU-GFA, Ibom Air expects to boost its passenger capacity with the addition of the two larger-haul aircraft.
The first of the two A220-300 aircraft with registration mark, SU-GFD had earlier arrived on June 5, this year.
Ibom Air has already disclosed of a major route expansion with plans to commence international operations to West African countries such as The Gambia, Equatorial Guinea and Ghana, as well as to the Central African region with flights to Cameroon.
