Imo North hosts medical outreach
The entire Imo North Senatorial District is hosting an extensive medical outreach next month.
Sponsored by the Senator, representing the zone in the National Assembly, Chukwuma Frank Ibezim, the six-day medical outreach is slated to hold across communities in the senatorial zone from March 1-6, 2022.
This outreach, which kick-starts Ibezim’s one year anniversary in the Senate next month, is primarily aimed at attending to the immediate medical needs of the constituents.
Three health centres have been earmarked for each of the six local governments areas of the zone: Okigwe, Ihitte Uboma, Ehime Mbano, Isiala Mbano, Obowo, and Onuimo, making a total of 18 health centres.
However, the medical outreach train will berth at one local government a day throughout the six-day duration.
By organising the medical outreach, Ibezim hopes that his desire for the restoration of the health of his constituents would be met, as that would enhance their well-being and productivity.
Ibezim has doubtlessly made landmark contributions towards uplifting the zone since his inauguration in April last year after hard fought protracted electoral and legal battles.
