Jonathan, Buhari attend council of state meeting in Aso Villa
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently chairing the National Council of State meeting, attended by former Nigerian leaders.
This marks the first meeting of the council during the current administration, with a focus on addressing the recent protests, economic challenges, and other pertinent national matters.
In attendance are former President Goodluck Jonathan and former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting was attended by former Heads of State Abdusalami Abubakar and Yakubu Gowon via virtual means.
Additionally, the Governor of Abia State, Alex Oti, participated in the meeting remotely. In contrast, the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Atiku Bagudu, and the Budget and Economic Planning Minister were physically present at the meeting.
