‘Kanu must not be released,’ Dokubo fumes
Ex-Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo, has asked the Federal Government not to release leader of the pro-secession group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, as he accused the latter of being behind the unrest in the South East region of the country.

The IPOB leader is currently in the custody of the Department of State Security (DSS) facing an amended 15-count charge brought against him by the Nigerian Government bordering on terrorism, treason, unlawful assembly, arms possession, and others.

He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
In a video posted online, Friday, Dokubo accused Kanu of instigating violence in the region, even as he alleged that Kanu propelled his followers to wreak havoc in the South East.
“They will come and be begging (the FG) to bring out Nnamdi Kanu. For what? For the people that he’s killing?
“You take Mkpuru Mmiri (crystal methamphetamine), then eat the flesh of our people. What these evil men are doing to our people, do they have hearts?
“You take traditional rulers, chain them, you put guns inside their mouths because they are the people who are not allowing Biafra to come,” Dokubo fumed.
