Learn from UK’s Liz Truss, resign – PDP chieftain tells Gov Ayade

A Chieftain in Cross River State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Dorn Klaimz Enamhe, has advised the state governor Prof Ben Ayade to resign.
Dorn Klaimz said this follows the governor’s 2023 budget estimates which he said is predictable and laughable.
The university scholar maintained that the state’s 2023 budget is an economic disaster waiting to happen and in other climes people with such budgets have resigned for misleading the people.
“The Cross River State budget is laughable and very predictable, an economic disaster in waiting.
“In other climes people with such budgets would have resigned for misleading the people.
“A case study is Liz Truss UK’s immediate past Prime Minister who was forced to resign”, he said.
Speaking on the governor’s Senatorial ambition, Dorn Klaimz Enamhe who is also the DG of the Jarigbe Campaign Council said the governor cannot go to the Senate because his people have rejected him.
He added that the governor has a history of not completing projects and if he wants to prosecute people he should start with himself for making false promises.
He also faulted the planned prosecution of people for economic sabotage saying he should start with himself for making false promises to his people and members of his infrastructural team.
“He cannot go to the Senate,the people have rejected him.
“He has a history of not completing his projects, if he wants to presecute people he should start with himself who made false promises to his people and members of his infastructural team.
“It’s laughable ,he had had 4years in the senate and over 7 years in goverment and it took Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe to develop the north of Cross River State in just under one year as senator.
Senator Jarigbe by his performance and selflessness is returning back to the senate”, he said.
