Manchester City announce £100m Jack Grealish signing
Manchester City have broken the British transfer record to sign Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.
Grealish, 25, declined a new contract offer from Villa to make the switch to the Etihad, where he signs a five year deal until 2026.

The England international had been made a transfer priority for City, who will pay a club record £100million to Villa for his services. That fee is significantly higher than the £63million paid for Ruben Dias last summer, and also higher than the previous British record of £89million paid by Manchester United for Paul Pogba.
City submitted their £100million bid for Grealish on Friday, and had been confident of completing a deal ever since. Grealish returned to Villa training on Monday and held talks with the club’s hierarchy before travelling to Manchester to undergo a medical.
