NEMA confirms 2 dead in Lagos 3-storey building collapse

National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has confirmed the death of two persons; while two others were rescued from a three-storey building that collapsed in Yaba area of Lagos.
This was disclosed by Mr. Ibrahim Farinloye, Zonal Coordinator, Southwest (NEMA)) on Saturday in Lagos.

Farinloye said that a three-storey building under construction at No. 16 Akanbi crescent, off Adesina Street, Harvey, Sabo, Yaba, collapsed trapping about five workers.
“Two of them have been rescued alive, but two adult males were recovered dead.”
“Search and rescue operations are ongoing,” Farinloye said.
