Nigeria needs mutually beneficial investments, not hand-out-VP Shettima
Vice President Kashim Shettima has said that Nigeria is seeking investments for mutually beneficial partnerships, not hand-outs.
He stated this on Monday during the United Nations Food Systems Summit being held in Rome, Italy
In a high-level session on Financing Food Systems Transformation, VP Shettima explained that Nigeria needs no hand-outs but real partnerships adding; “We have removed the albatrosses of fuel subsidies and multiple exchange rates from our necks.”
According to him, Napoleon Bonaparte once said, “China is a Sleeping Giant. Let her sleep, for when she wakes, she will shake the world.”
VP Shettima added that President Bola Tinubu is poised to redefine the meaning of modern leadership in Nigeria, the Giant of Africa.
Since he ascended to power, Tinubu has introduced critical reforms in attempts to fulfill his campaign promises of economic prosperity.
