Nollywood veteran Chiwetalu Agu assaulted, arrested by Nigerian troops in Onitsha

Nollywood veteran actor, Chief Chiwetalu Agu, was, Thursday, assaulted and eventually taken into custody by troops of the Nigerian Army in Onitsha, Anambra State, over his choice of dressing.

Reports claim the actor was molested by the soldiers for wearing an attire made out from Biafran flag.

The soldiers fired gunshots to scare away people who were attracted to the scene as the actor was being assaulted.

Agu’s present whereabouts is still unknown by Thursday evening, as he was reportedly whisked away by the soldiers who were on a military exercise in parts of the South East region.
