According to Shehu, in a statement, Saturday, Buhari declared the assets form to CCB ‘with zero debt.’

The declaration is in line with requirements contained in Chapter 6 of the constitution of Nigeria which demand that public officers declare assets upon assuming or leaving office.

However, just as in the disclosure on assuming office, contents of Buhari’s declaration form to the CCB have remained hidden.

Garba further disclosed that the CCB on receiving the forms issued an acknowledgement receipt to Buhari.

“The completed declaration shows that his movable assets did not increase, at home in Nigeria or outside and did not add new bank accounts outside the only one he had in Union Bank, Kaduna. He has taken no loans and has no liability.

“The number of animals in his farm recorded a little decrease due to the number he gave out as gifts in the last four years,” Garba said.
