Otu commissions multi-million naira Kada Cinema in Calabar

The Cross River State governor Senator Bassey Otu has inaugurated the multi-million naira Kada Cinema in Calabar.
The facility which is located at the Marina Resort in Calabar had long been abandoned before its rehabilitation and rebranding by the management of Kada Cinema.
Speaking while inaugurating the facility, the state governor thanked the former governor of Edo State Lucky Igbenidion for deciding to invest in the state.
According to the governor, “We are so glad and happy that we started with this and I know that greater things will be added.
“My administration is willing and ready to continue to support in any way we can so that life will get to normal.
“This is just the beginning, we will be cutting the tape for many more things”, the governor said.
He added that beginning from the first of December to the end the will be no dull moment in the state and expressed optimism that many more structures will come up.
Also speaking, Mr. Trevor, an official of the Kada Cinema said the group is happy to be offering this entertainment experience in the state and the are looking forward to a fun filled adventure.
He added that besides the Kada Cinema, the group is also bringing in the Kada Healthcare & Pharmacy as well as the Zozo Bistro to the state.
Earlier, the Managing Director of the Cross River State Tourism Bureau, Prince Ojoi Ekpenyong said the said the cinema is located close to the cleanest and best water front in West Africa.
He thanked the group lead by the former governor of Edo State Lucky Igbenidion for reviving the cinema in less than three months.
He added that the Cinema will offer the best services not just the people of Cross River State but the world at large.
