PEPC fixes May 10, 12, 13 to hear Labour Party, Obi petition

Presidential Elections Petitions Tribunal (Court) has fixed May 10, 12 and 13 to hear petitions filed by the Labour Party (LP) and its Presidential candidate in the February 125 elections, Peter Obi.

The LP Lagos chapter disclosed this in a terse statement, Thursday.

“Tribunal has fixed dates to hear Peter Obi case against Tinubu for 10th, 12th and 13th May, 2023,” the party said.

The court which recently unveiled a list of over 200 judges to listen to petitions filed by aggrieved party candidates in the February 25 and March 11 governorship elections had slated the appeal courts I the state to serve as tribunal sitting venues.

In the same vein, the Court of Appeal headquarters in Abuja will also served\as the venue of the PEPC sitting.

LP and its candidate, Obi have concluded filings in their petitions first submitted last month challenging the declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu as winner of the February 25 elections and President-elect.
