Peter Obi unveils 62-Page manifesto after face-off with APC
The Presidential Candidate of Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi, has released his long-awaited campaign manifesto after the battle of words with All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign councils on the open debate feud between their presidential candidates.
Recall that during the face-off with Spokesperson of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo has said that APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu cannot debate with Obi who has no documents or manifesto to show Nigerians.
Keyamo, however, challenged the former governor of Anambra State to first release his manifesto and then list his achievements during his tenure as governor of Anambra State.
He said Obi should also tell Nigerians people he has mentored in politics who are still with him today, mention any political party he has formed and then mention his contributions to the return of democracy to Nigeria after years of military rule.
But a few days after the debate, the LP presidential hopeful released a 62-page campaign manifesto on Saturday at the party Secretariat in Abuja.

The 62-page manifesto tagged, “Our Pact with Nigerians: Creating a New Nigeria“, unveiled Obi’s proposed plans to lead Nigeria if elected as president in 2023.
Page 18 of the document itemized his economic plan founded on a shift from consumption to production by running a production-centred economy driven by an agricultural revolution and export-oriented industrialization.
