Police arrest 4-man yahoo syndicate in Anambra

Police in Anambra State have arrested a four-man yahoo syndicate who specializes in luring people to their den and then using subterfuge to dispossess them of their money and belongings.
The Police spokesman in the State,DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, in a statement said preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects used the social media to lure their unsuspecting male victims into fake love/friendship affairs.
“When their victims arrive, they take him or her into a room, where Obianuju Nduba, female engaged the victims in a foreplay.
“The other members of the gang then forced themselves into the room, take nude pictures and videos of the victims, which they used to force the victims into transferring huge sums of money to them, with the threat of publishing same on social media if the victims fail to comply.
“Apart from money, they also dispossessed their victims of their personal belongings,” the statement explained.
The statement listed the names of the four suspected fraudsters to include:: Okechukwu Ogoejiofor aged 36; Nonso Nwizu aged 34; Esther Nwafor lfeanyichukwu aged 21; and Obianuju Nduba aged 20.
“The case, shall be charged to court after investigations are concluded”, the police spokesman said.
