Presidency gives Wike, others 72hrs to complete documentation ahead screening
Ahead of the senate screening of ministerial nominees submitted by President Bola Tinubu, Thursday, the Presidency has told former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, along with 27 others listed to complete documentation by Sunday, July 30.
A notice to the nominees issued by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Sen. Abdullahi Gumel, Friday, asked the nominees to complete documentation by Sunday ahead of the commencement of screening by the senate on Monday, July 31..
In a statement, Senator Gumel says nominees are to submit required documents to his office located at the National assembly over the weekend, adding that the purpose is to ensure a hitch-free exercise.
President Bola Tinubu this Thursday transmitted to the senate list of 28 ministerial nominees to the senate for screening and confirmation.
The senate is set to commence the screening on Monday.
