Remain steadfast in touching lives, GAPS DG urges Nigeria’s First Lady

Director-General of Global Awareness for Public Safety Foundation (GAPS), Apostle Chuks Alozie, has urged Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to remain steadfast in her efforts to make Nigeria better through her life-transforming programmes.
The call is contained in a congratulatory message Apostle Alozie sent to the Mother of the Nation on the occasion of her 64th birthday.
Apostle Alozie, who is also the Abia State Coordinator of Nigeria Prays, said he was impressed by the positive impacts and contributions Senator Oluremi Tinubu has made towards the actualization of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
“Your achievements within a short while in office are highly commendable and as you have demonstrated great support to our President Tinubu, you have proved that you are a virtuous woman and the Nation’s Mother-figure personified,” the Man of God said.
The GAPS DG noted that the Wife of the President, through her office, and in conjunction with Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) of the Presidency, has orchestrated various initiatives in the areas of agriculture, education, women empowerment, support for children and elderly, amongst others.
Listing specific strides by Senator Oluremi Tinubu in lifting various segments of Nigerians, Apostle Alozie said: “Your programmes for education through your pet project – Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) – such as unveiling of 200 beneficiaries of AUDA-NEPAD/Africa School Economics and RHI scholarship, the RHI Distribution of 60,000 exercise books to pupils in the 13 LGA’s of Nasarawa State and other school support programmes, play significant roles in reshaping the education Sector.
“The Renewed Hope Initiative Agricultural programmes and collaborations between RHI and National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF) geared towards providing farmers with seedlings and fertilizer, donation of N10m to Rivers female farmers, the Every Home a Garden National Competition and the recent launch of Young Farmers Club are key to promoting Food security in Nigeria and equipping the youth with skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the agricultural sector.”
He added that the First Lady through her Renewed Hope Initiative Elderly Support Scheme (RHIESS) has put smiles on the faces of senior citizens in Nigeria, stressing that through the Renewed Hope Initiative Recapitalization Grants for 1,000 petty traders in 36 state and FCT, the distribution of relief materials to flood victims in Borno State, IDP centers and other women support programmes, she has shown her love for Nigerians in need.
“Your recent unveiling of National Unity Fabrics is First of its kind, despite our diversity, it will help unify us as one and create job and market opportunities in the fabric productions and marketing in Nigeria,” Apostle Alozie said.
Promising his organisation’s support for the activities of the First Lady, which he noted, were promoting public safety, he said: “We at Global Awareness for Public Safety Foundation assure Your Excellency of our support as your activities enhance public safety.”
He also promised not to relent in lifting the Nigerian Fist Lady in prayers through the Nigeria Prays platform, a pet project of a former Head of State, Gen. Dr Yakubu Gowon.
“We will continue to imbibe the biblical injunction of praying for you, your family and the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration,” he said, adding, “while wishing the First Lady a joyous and prosperous celebration, I urge her to remain focused in her quest for a better Nigeria. I pray to God to continue to bless her with long life and more years of fruitful celebrations.”
