Rotary Club of Asaba Diplomat installs charter president

Clifford Osahenye has been installed first President of Rotary Club of Asaba Diplomat, District 9141.
The installation of Rotarian Clifford Osahenye which took place at Orchid hotel on Sunday,was performed by the District Governor, District 9141, Mighty-Man Dakuro amid cheers from other rotarians, friends, family members and well wishers.
In his speech,The elated Rotarian Clifford Osahenye expressed gratitude for the opportunity and vowed to serve more. He promised to embark on projects that would add values to human lives as he takes on his role as president of the newly formed club.
He said: “I feel elated today to be decorated as the first President Rotary Club of Asaba Diplomat.This event will forever remain memorable to me.”
Osahenye disclosed that as a proud Rotarian, there can never be a greater honour than being the founding president of Rotary Club of Asaba Diplomat.
He expressed gratitude to Rtn PAG Edwin Ogidi-Gbegbaje who brought him into Rotary two years ago after remoulding his entire being.He further described Ogidi-Gbegbaje as a mentor,a joy giver,a father and goal getter.
Rotarian Clifford Osahenye who highlighted some projects he intends to embark upon within one Rotary year, appealed to colleagues and well wishers to fellowship with him to actualize the dream, stressing that Rotary is all about rendering selfless services in the society.
Others who spoke explained that Rotary clubs have added great values to humanity and made a lot of positive difference in the society and called for more membership.
Rotarian Clifford Osahenye joined the Rotary club of Asaba GRA in the year 2020 and since then has been super active in club activities.
