Soludo , Ekwunife, Azubugo, others grace, bid farewell to Big Joe
Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State , Senator Uche Ekwunife and Rep. Chris Azubogu, on Thursday, attended the burial ceremony of late Chief Josiah Chukwudi Anatune, who died at age, 62.
Late Anatune, until his death lived a very impactful life, a gold fish in advertising industry in Nigeria and a huge blessing to his society in his lifetime.
As an advertising guru, Anatune worked in a big advertising agency (Dawn Function) and rose to the position of Executive Director before establishing his own advertising and marketing firm, b3 Communications Ltd in 2003 which later became a household name in Nigeria’s advertising industry.
His firm won accounts of, and managed notable corporate and product brands in Nigeria, including Mercedez Benz, Union Bank, May & Baker, Dangote Foods, Avop Vegetable Oil, Partnership for Health Services (PATHS) and so many others. He also serviced a good number of government and public agencies, including Standards Organization of Nigeria, Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigeria Sports Commission, among others.
In 2019, Joe Anatune led the greatest political movement in Anambra through the Soludo Promoters Forum (SPF) – a project he pioneered to enlist Anambra elites to support Chukwuma Soludo’s gubernatorial bid (2019-2021). He used his marketing and branding prowess in selling the Soludo mandate effectively to Ndi-Anambra.
The social media platforms ( among them Anambra Alliance, AA Alliance ) he created to increase political awareness are still very active in promoting socio-economic and political development of Anambra and South-East .
Late Joe, the “Awa Pillar of Thought” , the Chief Media Aid to Chukwuma Soludo was on April 19, 2022 appointed as a cabinet member of the governor as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Signage and Advertising Agency.
Late Joe died ten days after his appointment and two days after his 62nd birthday. He is survived by Wife, two children and relatives.
