Supporters donate campaign office to Cross River APC governorship candidate

Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in the 2023 elections, Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu, have donated an office to boost his campaign.
The campaign office is a one-storey building located along MCC Road in Calabar Municipality.
The supporters, under the auspices of the Prince Otu Advocates came in thousands and said the Secretariat will help coordinate its grassroots activities in the 18 LGAs of the state.
Speaking during the commissioning of the facility, Prince Otu thanked the Advocates for deploying their resources to set up a Secretariat, saying he he humbled and privileged to earn their support.
He pledged not to disappoint the people and reemphasized that his politics is about people and service.
He also promised to complete all ongoing projects in the state and consolidate on the gains of the Ayade administration.
“Cross River State is a land of abundant resources and we will deploy it to better the state.
“I have vigorously researched and have come out with a model that is going to take Cross River State out of poverty.
“We are going to consolidate on all the gains of what Professor Ayade has done, complete all the projects and consolidate on the value chains.
“Ayade has done the hardest part which is putting the processing facilities in place so all we have to do so to make sure the raw materials are available”, he said.
Also speaking, the Director General of the POA and Mayor of Calabar Municipality Ndabu Dr. Effefiong Eke Nta said what Prince Otu is enjoying today is courtesy of the goodwill he had long invested in people’s lives.
He explained that the POA is a congregation of like minds and will ensure the proper sensitization of the people ahead of 2023.
On his part, the state chairman of APC Alphonsus Eba said the campaign office will help deliver Prince Otu.
Eba who was represented by the State Vice Chairman South Titi Ndifon urged the people to go back to their wards and LGAs to deliver the mandate.
As part of the occasion, a number of defectors from other parties formally joined the APC.
