Fadoye, whose address was not provided, is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and stealing.
The Prosecutor, Sgt. Ayodeji Omoyeigha, told the court that the accused committed the offences on June 17 at about 6:30 p.m. at Oja Ale area of Okitipupa.
Omoyeigha said the accused snatched the handbag belonging to the complainant, Kilkelomo Aladeye.
“The accused stole the bag containing N15,000 cash and a Techno X2 Camera phone valued at N20,000’’ he said.
According to the prosecutor, the offences contravened Sections 390 (9) and 451 of the Criminal Law of Ondo State, 2006.
The acussed, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
In his ruling, the Magistrate, Mr Chris Ojuola, admitted the accused to bail in the sum of N50, 000 and a surety in like sum.
He said the surety should reside within the court’s jurisdiction and should show evidence of a year tax payment to the Ondo State Government.
The case was adjourned until Aug.17, for mention.
