Three die in Anambra multiple road crashes

Three persons have died in road crashes that occurred in Anambra State as a commercial bus driver rammed into a stationary trailer, killing two persons.
It was gathered that the driver was counting money while driving, leading to the accident.
The incident occurred at Okija by Ihialla- Onitsha Expressway at about 3.35pm.
The Mercedes truck involved in the accident was marked registration number: XF-123-JJT while the Toyota Hiace bus has registration number: XC-505ATN and branded Imo State Transport Company (RTC).
Eye witnesses attributed the accident to loss of control due to over speeding.
Nine people, namely; five male adults, and four female adults were involved in the bus when the crash occurred.
In a related development, one person has died in another crash that occurred at Ken MADUAKO Drinks Depot by Ihialla- Onitsha Express way involving two vehicles, an Iveco Trailer and a Mack Tanker
The cause of the fatal crash was attributed to over speeding.
