Tinubu approves new DCGs, ACGs for Nigeria Customs
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of three new Deputy Comptroller Generals (DCGs) and same number of Assistant Comptroller Generals (ACGs) for the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
The appointment follows the recent retirement of some management members in the Service, which began with the naming of Mr. Bashir Adewale Adeniyi as the new the Acting Comptroller General of Customs on June 19, 2023.
The newly-appointed officers include: DCG FO Okun, DCG MBA Musa, DCG A Hamisu. Others are: ACG K Olumoh, ACG AB Mohammed, and ACG A Alajogun.
A statement confirming the appointment signed by the National Public Relations Officer, NCS, CSC Abdullahi Maiwada, Friday, quoted Adeniyi as thanking the retired members of the management for their meritorious service, while ‘congratulating the newly appointed officers’ as he charged them ‘to redouble their efforts to ensure the Service achieves greater heights in its mandates of revenue generation, suppression of smuggling and trade facilitation.’
