Tinubu  in a closed-door meeting with  Dangote, Bill Gates at Aso Villa

President Bola Tinubu on Monday, held a  closed-door meeting with Aliko Dangote, President of Dangote Group, and Microsoft boss ,Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, at the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja.

The visit was part of the Gates Foundation’s commitment to working with leaders and partners to support innovation that can help accelerate progress and improve lives across Africa.

After the  meeting, Dangote disclosed that the purpose of the visit was to provide the President with an update on the efforts of the foundation to enhance the healthcare sector in the country.

The visit is said to be part of the Gates Foundation’s commitment to working closely with communities and leaders to support innovation.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have been actively involved in various philanthropic efforts worldwide.

The Chairman of the Dangote Group had met with the President at the State House on Friday last week and told journalists that he would come again on Monday with Bill Gates.

Dangote had told journalists that he would brief them on the agenda of the meeting after the Monday visit.
