Tinubu returns to Nigeria from medical vacation

Former Governor of Lagos and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) returned to the country, Saturday, after months abroad on medical vacation.

First confirming the return of national leader of APC, Senator Shehu Sani, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial district in the 8th Assembly from 2015-2019,took to his Twitter handle, Saturday, to announce the return.

“One of my friend bought a ticket and landed in the UK to see the Jagaban, only learn that the Jagaban is back. Best wishes to the Asiwaju,” Sani wrote.

It has been over two months since the 69-year-old left the shores of Nigeria for medical treatment in London.
Tinubu arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Ikeja, Lagos, on a flight from the U.K on Saturday, after two months of which were spent in the United Kingdom for medical treatment.
While there, almost all notable APC chieftains had paid him a courtesy visit from Nigeria, including President Muhammadu Buhari, Lagos State Governor, babajide Sanwo-Olu, ministers, senators and Representatives.
