From Chinedu Nwafor, Abakaliki
Governor David Umahi has called on the people of Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State to translate their solidarity to his administration and to the All Progressives Congress to victory in the 2023 general elections.
Governor Umahi made the call during a APC campaign rally in Ezza North held at Ebiaji, the Council’s headquarters, Wednesday.
Umahi commended people of Ezza North Local Government Area for their solidarity to his administration.
Reacting to the massive mobilization to the rally, Governor Umahi charged the people to endeavour to translate their solidarity to votes in the forthcoming general elections.
He enjoined them to disregard overtures from their son, Professor Bernard Odoh, who he said claimed to be contesting for Governorship under APGA noting that it was solely the turn of Izzi people to produce the Governor in 2023 for the sake of equity, justice and fairness.
The Wife of the Governor, Mrs Rachel Umahi, in her remarks, called on Ezza North people to vote for Right Honourable Francis Nwifuru on the assurance that the Izzi people would repay the votes in 2031.
The APC Governorship Flagbearer, Right Honourable Francis Nwifuru assured the people that he would repay their votes with massive projects if elected in the March Guber poll.
The Chairman of Ezza North Local Government Area, Chief Moses Ogodo Ali Nomeh pledged that the people and Stakeholders of the Council would leave no stone unturned to ensure comprehensive victory for APC in the elections.
Traditional Rulers of the Council later blessed and adopted all APC Candidates as theirs going into the general elections.
