We’ll win our generation for Christ through gospel of peace – Bishop Isong

The National Publicity Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) says he is optimistic that the movement will win the present generation through the gospel of Christ.
Bishop Isong who is also the presiding Bishop of the Faith Mansion World Incorporated stated this in Calabar after receiving an award as an Ambassador of Peace by the Universal Peace Federation of Nigeria (UPFN).
He said the gospel he preaches is already that of peace ,adding that the award will synchronise and harmonise what the movement has been doing and also give him more feathers to fly.
“I am very happy with this award and through the peace we are propagating we will win our generation.
” The gospel we preach is already that of peace as Jesus is the prince of peace.
“This award will synchronise and harmonise what we have been doing.
“The activities as an Ambassador of Peace is very familiar to me as I will only be doing what I have been doing.
“Through this, they have given me more feathers to fly”, he said.
He said he declined receiving the award for about five times because he was not sure it came from the real source but, now , happy this is the real one because of the people involved.
He also expressed his appreciation to the UPFN for also finding his wife, Lady Magistrate Helen Emmah Isong worthy of being honoured.
Earlier, Dr. George Ikott, a director with the UPFN had congratulated Isong for the award,saying an Ambassador of Peace lives for the sake of others.
He also said they believe and work for inter religious unity irrespective of religion, because God is the creator.
Dignitaries who graced the occasion included Rev. Dr. John Okoriko, Dr. Trinity Ogar, Pastor Rosemary Archibong, and many others.
