WIEN Woman Podcast debuts with Tenaris Nigeria MD, Rosario Osobase

Frontline gender equity group in the Nigerian energy industry, Women in Energy Network (WIEN), has launched a podcast series as part of her web learning and media thread designed to sensitize and empower women playing as professionals and entrepreneurs in the industry.

The WIEN Woman Podcast which is hosted by two eminent analysts, Mrs. Rolake Akinkugbe-Filani and Engr Charlotte Essiet, is conceived to enable public audience catch up with the group on its mentorship and empowerment programmes.

Mrs Ainkugbe-Filani is the General Manager & Group Head of Corporate Development and Investor Relations at Zenith Bank Plc and WIEN’s Director of Research & Strategy.

Engr Charlotte Essiet is the Chief Executive Officer of Elint Systems Limited and WIEN’s immediate past Media and Publicity Director.

The premier episode of the podcast which is currently online puts Managing Director of Tenaris Nigeria, Rosario Osobase, on the spot as the hosts explored Rosario’s 19-year journey in the energy sector.

On the debut of the podcast series, the President of WIEN, Mrs. Eyono Fatayi Williams, stated: “Our goal with the WIEN Woman Podcast is to create a space where women in the energy industry can share their experiences and inspire others.

“We believe that by amplifying these voices, we can foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for women in energy.”

According to WIEN’s President, very insightful and suspense packed discussions have been lined up to share the experiences of great and accomplished women who come with inspiration and knowledge in the very entertaining episodes.

Taking the lead from WIEN’s Executive Secretary, Engr Asanimo Omezi, “this exciting new initiative will feature six captivating episodes, each designed to inspire, educate, and empower women in the energy sector and beyond.”

She explained that the WIEN Woman Podcast features guests drawn from members both in careers and business owners to afford listeners earful experiences.

Discussions necessarily include but not always limited to inclusion, challenges, and representation of women in the energy space.

Engr Omezi stated that the podcast series serves as a platform to dive into engaging conversations, profound interviews and thought-provoking discourse with leading women professionals and experts in the industry.
