Wike storms office in N76m amoured Lexus SUV
Newly-inaugurated Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) turned heads, in Abuja, when he arrived office on his first day at work, Tuesday, in an armour-plated Lexus LX 600 SUV car.
The car said to be worth about US$100, 000 (N76, 050, 000) carried a customized number plate of ‘FCT-01’.
Wike arrived at his Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) office around 1:20 pm to commence duties as the first FCT Minister from the southern region of the country.
Wike, the former Rivers State Governor, who is also from the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was a surprise pick for the portfolio, as he was reportedly the choice of President Bola Tinubu for the office.
