You’re judiciary-friendly Governor, Abia CJ tells Otti
*Governor Otti presents five SUV to Judges, vows to give judiciary its pride of place

Chief Judge of Abia State, Justice Lilian Abai, says that the state governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has demonstrated that he was a judiciary-friendly Governor.
Justice Abai made the remark when she received five Sports Utility Vehicles (SUVs) the Governor presented to five judges as official vehicles.
While receiving the vehicles on Tuesday, the Sate Chief Judge said that Otti has shown he was judiciary-friendly since he assumed office as Governor.
She thanked the Governor for providing the vehicles for the judges, adding that she looked forward to a better working relationship with the Executive arm of government.
The Governor, represented by his Chief of Staff, Dr. Caleb Ajagba, at the brief presentation ceremony of the vehicles held at the premises of the High Court Complex, Umuahia, assured whatever that was necessary to ensure that the judiciary was given its pride of place would receive the utmost priority of his administration.
Otti noted that he was committed to ensuring the dispensation of justice and the rule of law in the State, adding that those who have the responsibility of performing such a task should have the best conducive atmosphere to discharge their duties.
He said that he has not hidden his respect for the judiciary and rule of law and expressed his happiness over the cordial relationship that exists between the Executive and Judiciary arms of government. Ajagba later presented the papers and keys of the vehicles to the Chief Judge.
In a vote of thanks, one of the beneficiaries, Justice Okezie Enyinnaya, thanked the Governor for the gesture extended to him and his brother Judges.
He promised, on behalf of his colleagues, to make judicious use of the vehicles, while pledging to continue to discharge their functions without fear or favour.
