Nigerdock rolls out the carpet for long-serving employees

Nigeria’s leading maritime and logistics company, Nigerdock, has expressed appreciation to its longstanding employees who have contributed in the company’s successful growth journey across many years.
The awardees are attached to Nigerdock’s shipyard, free zone, and corporate divisions.
Nigerdock which operates an integrated free zone in Lagos held a long service award ceremony in which the management of the company recognised and honoured several employees for their meritorious and diligent service to the company.
Chief Executive Officer, Maher Jarmakani, paid tribute to the dedication and commitment of the company’s workers who have put in over 10 years of service.
“We are proud to celebrate the dedication and commitment of our employees who have achieved significant milestones ranging from ten to 25 years of service. Their professional contributions have been key to the company’s success, and we look forward to celebrating even greater milestones together,” he declared.
Nigerdock’s Head of Human Resources, Lydia Iyoha, said the employee are integral to the achievements of the company; adding that the workers have deployed their deep industry knowledge in maintaining Nigerdock’s leadership of the sector.
“Our employees’ longevity and loyalty is testament to our consistent culture of recognition. They are integral to our achievements, and with deep industry knowledge, and transformative learning and development programs, our employees have helped maintain Nigerdock’s sector leadership,” she said.
Company spokesman, Mr Kevin Johnson-Azuara, stated that Nigerdock boasts a diverse, multi-talented workforce which has been a major part of Nigeria’s industrialisation. He pointed at the company’s legacy operations that have spanned decades, alongside new infrastructure projects.
