Gunmen, on Saturday evening, reportedly killed four policemen at a checkpoint in Obeagu, Awkunanaw, Nkanu local government area of Enugu state.

This is coming barely three days that three policemen were killed at a checkpoint in Maryland axis in Enugu metropolis.
It was gathered that the gunmen stormed the checkpoint in Sienna and Lexus SUV.
The development has caused fear in the area.
Efforts to speak with the Enugu State police spokesman, DSP Daniel Ndukwe failed as at press time.
