While the Flying Eagles beat Dominican Republic, Sunday night, by 2-1 to get off to a good start, Italy edged past Brazil by 3-2 to grab all three points.

Both sides will not expect to lose as a draw will better preferred, considering that Brazil are expected to beat Dominican Republic in the other encounter slated for Wednesday.

Earlier on Tuesday, Flying Eagles coach Ladan Bosso, Abel Ogwuche and Daniel Bameyi expressed optimism of a good outing against the Italy U20 side in Wednesday’s second group game clash.

Bosso says he expects a tough game but his side can do the business.

The match to be played at 7.00 pm Nigerian time holds at the Estadio Malvinas Argetinas, in Mendoza, same venue that hosted the Flying Eagles versus Dominican Republic encounter.

Meanwhile, Italy currently sit atop Group D with superior goals advantage over the Flying Eagles having scored a goal more than the latter in their win over Brazil in the opening Group D matches day, last Sunday.

The Italy/Brazil was played at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas.

With Italy’s triumph, they now sit atop Group D, leaving Nigeria in second place on similar number of points.
